Our Junior Clinic Programs are designed for beginner to intermediate junior golfers from ages 6-14. After meeting with the student, if our Professional Staff feels they have the knowledge and skills strong enough for more in depth instruction, he or she will be recommended to attend our Half-Day or Full Day Golf Camp Programs.
Students’ skills are evaluated prior to beginning instruction through our unique Level Achievement Program.
Students who graduate from our “Pre-Swing” Level or begin our program with an understanding of basic fundamentals will start at Level 1. Here they learn an introduction to the main components of the game including putting, chipping, full swing basics and basic golf terminology.
The Level 1 workbook includes putting, chipping and full swing basics. Your child will also learn golf terminology and basic golf rules. Additionally, they will learn to identify and label parts of the golf club and golf course components.

Full-day Camps (Ages 10-17)
Our “Day Camp” Program is for students from the ages of 10-17.
It is required that the junior golfer has prior experience with an advanced-beginner to intermediate skill level.
Each student will work closely with their experienced instructor (4 to 1 ratio) to improve all aspects of their game in our Learning Center using Video Analysis software and also having plenty of practice range time.
Additionally, they will be expected to; learn and be tested on their skills, the Rules of Golf, golf etiquette and course play as determined by their current workbook level. There will be games and challenges throughout the week for a fun, enjoyable learning experience. Another bonus to Great River’s “Day Camp” program is that every student will get an opportunity to play every day (weather & course availability permitting). Instructors will work closely with their students for up close and personal instruction with course management, sportsmanship and rules help.
